A decision can change
Our recommendations describe the exact scope and evidence reviewed at a particular time. Formula, material, supplier, manufacturing, ownership, certification, recall or testing changes can trigger re-review. New evidence may strengthen a claim, narrow it or require removal.
A visible date, with a real meaning
The last-reviewed date records a substantive check of the product and evidence. It is separate from a page-edit date or laboratory report date. Our policy calls for routine category review every 90 days, with earlier review for material changes. This is a review schedule, not a promise of continuous surveillance.
Send a useful correction
If you spot an error, use the site's contact route and include the product name, page address, what appears wrong and any supporting link or document. A current label photo or lot reference can help identify the exact scope. Do not include unnecessary personal or medical information.
What happens next
We check the source against the public claim, record the decision and update the affected status or wording when warranted. A credible material concern can prompt a temporary restriction while it is reviewed. Substantive corrections retain a dated explanation; cosmetic edits do not reset the evidence date.
Moving out of the selection
A product can leave the assortment because it no longer meets a requirement, because its scope changed or because another qualifying choice better fills a limited slot. We distinguish those reasons. Not selected does not, by itself, mean unsafe. Re-entry requires a fresh scoped decision, not an automatic return when a document arrives.
