A decision can change

Our recommendations describe the exact scope and evidence reviewed at a particular time. Formula, material, supplier, manufacturing, ownership, certification, recall or testing changes can trigger re-review. New evidence may strengthen a claim, narrow it or require removal.

A visible date, with a real meaning

The last-reviewed date records a substantive check of the product and evidence. It is separate from a page-edit date or laboratory report date. Our policy calls for routine category review every 90 days, with earlier review for material changes. This is a review schedule, not a promise of continuous surveillance.

Send a useful correction

If you spot an error, use the site's contact route and include the product name, page address, what appears wrong and any supporting link or document. A current label photo or lot reference can help identify the exact scope. Do not include unnecessary personal or medical information.

What happens next

We check the original source against the exact public claim. A credible material concern can prompt an immediate pause of the affected badge or shopping recommendation while we investigate. A changed formula, an expired evidence scope or a recall can require different actions; the correction explains which applies.

For a substantive change, the affected page carries the decision date, what changed, the supporting source where it can be shared, and the next review step. A recall follows the official notice’s exact product and lot scope.

We restore a recommendation only after the reason for the pause is resolved and the relevant product and evidence are reviewed again. Previous report dates remain unchanged.

We do not currently have subscriber alerts or a way to contact everyone who previously viewed a page. Check the product page for updates, and report concerns to the address below.

Moving out of the selection

A product can leave the assortment because it no longer meets a requirement, because its scope changed or because another qualifying choice better fills a limited slot. We distinguish those reasons. Not selected does not, by itself, mean unsafe. Re-entry requires a fresh scoped decision, not an automatic return when a document arrives.

14 September 2026: organ-product selection updated

Pluck Original seasoning and four named Pluck formulas replace the Ancestral Beef Liver listing as an assortment choice. Equip Core Colostrum Unflavored joins the supplement selection in its own right. All six added formulas have ingredient approval with testing evidence incomplete. This change does not record an ingredient failure for the former Ancestral listing.

14 September 2026: clearer testing labels

Our two checks now read Ingredients Approved (or Materials Approved) and Testing provided. Listings follow the exact product; the evidence retains its sample and batch limits. Batch matching is available for shoppers who want to check their own package, but a seller’s dispatch batch is not a condition of product listing. Nine existing public second-tick decisions are retained; this wording change has not promoted any additional product or renewed a laboratory report.

14 September 2026: oat selection updated

ZEGO Organic Double Protein Oats, plain, replaces the One Degree rolled-oat listing as an assortment choice. The disclosed formula earns ingredient approval; its testing-provided review remains incomplete. The change does not record an ingredient failure or an unsafe finding for One Degree.
