Ingredients Approved
The exact reviewed formula meets our ingredient criteria, including applicable source and processing requirements. For non-ingestible products, the relevant material criteria apply. This is a positive ingredient or material decision, not a claim that contaminants have been ruled out.
Testing not verified
We have not verified the complete current evidence needed for the testing verification. Reports may be missing, historical, incomplete or not linked to the current product. A manufacturer may perform third-party testing even when we cannot verify its results. We state the actual gap instead of assuming that no testing occurs.
Label And Batch Verified
The seal means the exact reviewed product or configuration meets our ingredient or material criteria and the required evidence checks. Its review explains whether the evidence covers a product, a performance claim or a named lot. The seal does not mean every batch was tested, promise zero contaminants or imply that we carried out the laboratory analysis.
A disclosure does not override a failed requirement
Missing testing verification alone does not disqualify an otherwise eligible ingredient-approved listing. An unresolved ingredient rule, an established unacceptable result or an unmet category-specific requirement is different. Those issues need a review decision, not a disclaimer that makes them disappear.
Featured choices and reviewed ranges
A featured product is a starting point. A brand page may contain other named products that also meet our ingredient or material criteria. Each keeps its own testing status and scope. Products absent from a reviewed range have not automatically been approved or rejected.
